At Shamrock Tattoo, we take pride in creating stunning, custom tattoos while prioritizing your safety and comfort. Our studio maintains the highest cleanliness and sterile procedures to ensure a safe experience. Great tattoos deserve great care, so we emphasize the importance of proper aftercare to help your ink heal beautifully and last a lifetime.
SECOND SKIN HEALING
Keep the second skin on for 3 days. If it leaks, patch it with medical tape or replace it with a new second skin.
Remove the second skin in a hot shower. Slowly peel it off to prevent irritation.
Rinse the tattoo with hot water and antibacterial soap. We recommend Dial Gold (bar or liquid).
Pat dry and apply unscented lotion 3 times a day. Use Lubriderm, and continue for 2 weeks or until healed.

Initial Care: Leave the bandage on for 1-5 hours. Wash with hot water and mild, unscented
soap after removal. Pat dry with a clean paper towel and let air dry.
Aftercare Routine: Apply a thin layer of fragrance-free lotion or Aquaphor, ensuring skin can
breathe. Keep your tattoo clean with soap and water, adjusting frequency based on activity level.
Healing Guidelines: Avoid sun exposure, swimming, or soaking during healing. Let peeling and scabs fall off naturally—don’t pick or scratch. Repeat the care process for 1-2 weeks.
Long-Term Care: Use sunblock to maintain tattoo vibrancy. Once healed, visit the studio for a check-up and potential touch-up (included within the first year).

We welcome walk-ins every day—no deposit or appointment is required! Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis and may vary depending on the day's schedule and pre-booked appointments.
